These Terms & Conditions explain how RunThat Movement provides running coaching, training plans and related services.

By booking a service, purchasing a plan, submitting an enquiry form, or making payment, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About RunThat MOVEMENT

RunThat Movement provides running coaching, training plans, 1:1 running support, and related services.

Services may include:

  • Monthly running coaching

  • One-off training plans

  • 1:1 running sessions

  • General running support and guidance

  • Communication by email, phone, messaging apps or training platforms

All services are provided by Lee James.

2. Coaching Services

Coaching services are designed to support your running goals based on the information you provide.

This may include training advice, running plans, session guidance, race preparation, pacing advice and general support.

You understand that coaching is based on your current fitness, training history, goals, availability and feedback. Results cannot be guaranteed, as progress depends on many factors including consistency, health, lifestyle, recovery, injury history and individual response to training.

3. ATHLETE Responsibilities

By using RunThat Movement services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and honest information about your health, fitness, training history and injury status

  • Inform me of any medical conditions, injuries, pain, illness or concerns that may affect your training

  • Follow training guidance sensibly and within your own limits

  • Stop exercising if you feel unwell, dizzy, faint, in unusual pain or unsafe

  • Seek medical advice where appropriate before starting or continuing training

  • Let me know as soon as possible if something does not feel right

You are responsible for deciding whether you are fit and well enough to take part in training or sessions.

4. Health, Fitness and Medical Disclaimer

Running, exercise and sports massage involve some risk of injury or discomfort.

RunThat Movement does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Any advice given is for general running, training and wellbeing purposes only.

If you have any medical condition, injury, ongoing pain, or are unsure whether you should take part in exercise, you should seek advice from a qualified medical professional before booking or continuing.

5. Bookings and Payment

Prices for services will be shown on the website, discussed by email, or confirmed before booking.

Payment terms will be agreed before the service begins. Payment may be requested in advance, by invoice, payment link, bank transfer or another agreed method.

Your booking or coaching plan may not be confirmed until payment has been received, unless otherwise agreed.

For ongoing coaching, payment will usually be made monthly in advance unless agreed differently.

6. Monthly Coaching

Monthly coaching is provided on a rolling monthly basis unless otherwise agreed.

Your monthly coaching may include a training plan, ongoing adjustments, feedback and agreed communication.

If you wish to stop monthly coaching, please provide reasonable notice before your next billing date. Ideally, please give at least 7 days’ notice before your next payment is due.

If payment is not received on time, coaching support and training plan updates may be paused until payment is made.

7. One-Off Training Plans

One-off training plans are created based on the information you provide at the time of purchase.

Once your plan has been prepared and sent to you, refunds will not usually be available unless there is a fault with the service provided.

Minor questions or clarifications may be included, but ongoing coaching, regular amendments or continuous feedback are not included unless clearly stated.

If you require ongoing support, monthly coaching may be more appropriate.

8. Cancellations and Rearranging Sessions

If you need to cancel or rearrange a 1:1 session or meeting, please provide as much notice as possible.

The following cancellation terms apply unless otherwise agreed:

  • More than 24 hours’ notice: appointment can usually be rearranged without charge

  • Less than 24 hours’ notice: the session may be charged in full

  • No-shows: the session may be charged in full

I understand that genuine emergencies happen, and I will always try to be fair and reasonable.

If I need to cancel or rearrange a session, I will give as much notice as possible and offer an alternative appointment or refund where appropriate.

9. Travel Costs

For 1:1 sessions or in-person services outside my usual area, additional travel costs may apply.

Any travel costs will be discussed and agreed before the booking is confirmed.

10. Cooling-Off Period for Online Purchases

If you purchase a service online, by phone, or by email, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days under UK consumer contract rules. For services bought at a distance, the cancellation period generally starts when the contract is made and lasts 14 days.

However, if you ask for the service to begin during the 14-day cancellation period, you may still need to pay for any work already completed. If the service has been fully provided within that period with your agreement, you may lose the right to cancel once the service is complete.

For example, if you ask me to create and send a one-off training plan straight away, and I complete that work, you may not be entitled to a full refund simply because you change your mind afterwards.

11. Refunds

Refunds will be considered fairly and on a case-by-case basis.

Refunds will not usually be given where:

  • A training plan has already been created and sent

  • Coaching has already been provided

  • You have changed your mind after the service has started

  • You did not provide accurate information before the plan was created

  • You did not use or follow the plan

This does not affect your statutory rights.

12. Communication

Communication may take place by email, phone, contact form, messaging apps, TrainingPeaks or other agreed platforms.

I will always aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe, but immediate replies are not guaranteed.

Coaching support is not an emergency service. If you have a medical emergency or urgent health concern, you should contact emergency services or a medical professional.

13. TrainingPeaks and Third-Party Platforms

Some coaching services may use third-party platforms such as TrainingPeaks.

You may need to create an account with the relevant platform to access your training plan. Use of third-party platforms may be subject to their own terms, conditions and privacy policies.

RunThat Movement is not responsible for technical issues, account problems, platform changes or service interruptions caused by third-party providers.

14. Your Results

I will provide coaching, advice and support with reasonable care and skill.

However, I cannot guarantee specific outcomes, race times, personal bests, weight loss, injury prevention or performance improvements.

Your results will depend on many factors, including your training consistency, sleep, nutrition, stress, health, recovery, lifestyle and individual response to training.

15. Safety During Training

You are responsible for your own safety when completing training sessions.

This includes choosing safe routes, wearing suitable clothing and footwear, being visible in low light, following road and trail safety guidance, and adapting sessions where conditions are unsafe.

You should not complete a session if you feel unwell, injured or unsafe.

16. Intellectual Property

Training plans, written guidance, documents and other materials provided by RunThat Movement are for your personal use only.

You must not copy, share, sell, publish or distribute these materials without written permission.

17. Privacy and Personal Information

RunThat Movement will collect and use personal information in order to provide services, respond to enquiries, manage bookings and communicate with clients.

This may include your name, contact details, health information, training history, goals and payment information.

For more information, please see the Privacy Policy.

18. Limitation of Liability

RunThat Movement will provide services with reasonable care and skill.

However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, RunThat Movement will not be responsible for:

  • Injuries caused by incorrect use of training advice

  • Failure to disclose relevant health or injury information

  • Events outside my reasonable control

  • Losses caused by third-party platforms or services

  • Indirect or consequential losses

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

19. Changes to Services or Terms

I may update services, prices or these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The latest version will be available on the website.

If you are already receiving a paid service, any significant changes that affect you will be communicated where appropriate.

20. Complaints and Concerns

If you are unhappy with any part of the service, please contact me as soon as possible so I can try to resolve the issue.

Email: lee@runthat.co.uk

I will aim to respond fairly and promptly.

21. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
