Who i am

Hi, I’m Lee. A running coach with a passion for helping people move and feel better.

Running has been a huge part of my life for many years — not just as a way to stay fit, but as a way to challenge myself, build resilience, and enjoy the process of continual improvement. Through my own journey, from marathons to ultra-distance events, I’ve learned first-hand what it takes to train consistently, manage setbacks, and perform at your best on race day.

Whether you’re chasing a performance goal, returning from injury, or simply want to feel more comfortable in your body, I take a practical, tailored approach to support you. Combining real-world experience with a straightforward, supportive style, I help you train smarter, recover well, and get the most out of your body.

Based in Essex, I am available to work with runners locally across Essex and the South East, as well as athletes throughout the UK and internationally through personalised online coaching.

WHY I DO THIS

What started as a way to stay fit gradually turned into a passion for pushing my limits — taking on marathons and ultramarathons, and learning along the way what the body and mind are truly capable of. Like most runners, I’ve had my share of highs, lows, injuries, and lessons, and it’s these experiences that shape how I coach today.

I know what it’s like to juggle training with work, family, and everything else life throws at you. That’s why my approach is simple, practical, and realistic — no gimmicks, just consistent, structured training that fits around your life and helps you improve over time. Whether your goal is a PB, stepping up to a new distance, or just enjoying your running, I’ll work with you to build something sustainable.

Running has given me a lot over the years, and giving something back is a big part of why I love it — whether that be through charity fundraising, or helping other runners progress. That’s what led me into coaching, and starting RunThat Movement.

My coaching is not just about performance — it’s about helping people build confidence, stay consistent, and feel better each day. Whether you’re aiming high or just getting started, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
